We are very pleased the announce the official launch of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Turkiye branch. The first ordinary general assembly meeting was held on March 11th 2023, at the Hilton Bomonti Hotel, hosted by CILT corporate member ICA YSS. The meeting was opened with a speech from the President of CILT International, Paul Sainthouse. In November 2022, the Ministry of Internal Affairs approved the CILT Turkiye branch, among 135 foreign non-governmental organizations that exist in Turkiye and became one of the 19 organisations to get branch status. If there is one thing we learnt during the pandemic, it is that the success of the New Silk Road does not rely on the Chinese subsidies, or any other subsidies for that matter.
