Membership Grades available are as follows –
GRADES OF MEMBERSHIP
Affiliate or Student Membership ($29.00 p/a)
• An Affiliate is required to be a person associated with and/or active in the Transport & Logistics Industry
• A Student is required to be a full-time student in a relevant educational program associated with the Transport & Logistics Industry
Member (MILT) ($86.50)
A Member (MILT) is required to:
• Have completed a relevant tertiary educational program*;
• And, have at least three years experience in the Transport & Logistics Industry
* Minimum of a Certificate Course associated with the T&L Industry. This includes ‘associated courses’ with attainment of qualifications that are ‘usable’ in the Industry. Eg. Accounting
Chartered Member (CMILT) ($143.00)
A Chartered Member (CMILT) is required to:
• Have completed a relevant tertiary educational program*;
• And, have at least three years at Supervisory or Management level in the Transport & Logistics Industry;
* Advanced Diploma or Degree in a disipline associated with the T&L Industry
Chartered Fellow (FCILT)
A Chartered Fellow (FCILT) ($193.50) is required to:
• Have been a Chartered Member (CMILT) with at least 7 years in the Transport & Logistics Industry;
• Or, by exception, have achieved a high level of eminence in the Transport & Logistics Industry or the Institute
(*) Describes a relevant tertiary educational program. Final decision of membership approval is at the discretion of the Section Chair/Secretary and the CEO

- Copies of Educational Qualification Certificates
- Application form must also include Insitute Referees
